For the 2021 yearend vacations, we decided to visit Walong to search for the new species that were being reported from this part of the world. Binanda advised that December is not the best time for birding, however we still went ahead knowing that we will end up missing a few species. We also added a few days at Dehing Patkai/Digboi hoping to connect with some of the earlier missed birds.
Birding with Binanda: It was our first time birding with Binanda and his knowledge of Digboi/Dehing Patkai area proved extremely useful in search of our target birds. He runs multiple group tours around the year, best is to get connected with him over WhatsApp and join any of his tours.
